Step 1: Start with a question<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some partners come to us with a clear research question. Others bring a vision for a better future. Wherever the starting point, we help shape ideas into a focused project with a clear goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We turned a big question: \u201cWhat if surgeons could prepare and recover like pro athletes?\u201d into a powerful study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Get the answers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We agree on scope and timeline, then tap the right team of experts for the job. From there, we get to work\u2014keeping everyone in the loop and handling the details so researchers can stay focused on the data and partners can focus on the big picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We helped the City of L.A. decide where, how many, and what kinds of trees to plant in neighborhoods vulnerable to extreme heat as part of our Urban Trees Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Make the data useful<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We make the findings clear and actionable\u2014whether that\u2019s a policy recommendation, blueprints, a taskforce, or something else entirely. That way, we keep momentum and create a smooth path from research to action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the COVID crisis, we’ve provided L.A. County partners with data to support initiatives feeding thousands of L.A. families, including a groundbreaking interactive map of the County food system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
