Dark red patches represent extremely smoky conditions (\u201cheavy\u201d smoke) and yellow representing less smoky air (\u201clight\u201d smoke). This is an estimate of the smoke\u2019s behavior\u2014the boundaries between orange and red, for example, should not be interpreted too precisely.
